The Junior League of Bergen County is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism,
developing the potential of women, and improving communities through
the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose
is exclusively educational and charitable.

| Over 1,600 Attend the 5th Annual Touch-A-Truck! |

Children touched,
climbed on, and explored fire trucks, police trucks, dump trucks and
other trucks, cars and vehicles at the 5th Annual Touch-A-Truck.
Touch-A-Truck provides financial support for the JLBC’s community projects, including Done in a Day, Kids in the Kitchen, StarPower! and college scholarships.

| JLBC Donates $30,000 to 3 Local Charities |

Giving When It's Most Needed
The JLBC is celebrating its 75th year by donating 3 gifts of $10,000, a total of $30,000, to three local charities: The Volunteer Center of Bergen County Woodlea PATH 1 Advisory Board (a part of Children’s Aid and Family Services) Rebuilding Together Bergen County
 These
grants illustrate the JLBC’s continued support for the important work
that these charities perform especially during these difficult
financial times.
