About Us

Our Mission

The Junior League of Bergen County, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Today, the JLBC has about 200 members from around the county.  Many of our members can be found using their Junior League training and experience in their professional lives, at home and at school, as well as on other charitable boards.

Active Junior League members volunteer their time and service to the community in many ways through League-sponsored initiatives.  Funds that are raised are returned to the community through JLBC projects, programs, scholarships and Community Grants.
