Alissa Galford serves as the Vice President of Fundraising for the Junior League of Bergen County. Since joining the Junior League in 2009 (originally in the New York City chapter), she has served on a variety of committees all supporting the League’s mission to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Alissa received her Bachelor of Science from Ohio University and is the director of business development for an AmLaw 100 law firm, where she is responsible for the superior client service and key client account programs and growing revenue for her firm.  She is the recipient of Business First’s Forty Under 40 award and previously served as fundraising chair for the Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital, board member for Ohio University’s Alumni Association, and board member and junior board president for the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.  She is passionate about building teams, improving communities, and supporting women. In addition to the Junior League, Alissa volunteers for a number of organizations in Bergen County. and in New York City.

She resides with her boyfriend and her very active puppy in Old Tappan.
