Community VP Bio
Kimberly (Kim) Wong joined the League in 2018 and is excited to join the board as the Community Chair. Kim has over 20-years experience organizing and engaging in voluntarism focused on women, children, and labor rights. She serves on the elected lay governing board of her church and is an active volunteer at her daughter’s elementary school.
Kim is an avid reader, runner, and a lover of the outdoors. She loves baking from scratch, yoga, travel and a good cup of coffee.
Kim hods an MA in Sociology and most recently worked as an adjunct sociology instructor and qualitative researcher. Currently, she is exploring the next steps in her professional life while raising her children and finding ways to deepen her commitment to community service in Bergen County and beyond. She currently lives in Ridgewood with her family.
