Nicole DeMatteo joined the League in October 2021 and is excited to serve a second term as PR/Communications Chair for the JLBC Executive Board.

Nicole is currently a school nurse in Waldwick. She has also worked in districts in Passaic and Hudson County. Her passion is to go to work each day and make children feel safe and healthy. Nicole understands that education involves the whole child and a healthy child (relative to the child) is one who will have greater success in his or her school career. Prior to working in schools, Nicole worked as a Postpartum/NICU Nurse at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Nicole loves to play the piano, read, spend time at the beach and most importantly travel. She is extremely close to her family, especially her three year old niece.

Nicole received her BSN from Fairfield University and her Masters in School Nursing from Felician University.
