Deb Norman is a vocal and “hands-on” advocate supporting the efforts of several non-profit organizations.  Her passion is on making her local community a better place to live – not only for her real estate clients, but especially for our neighbors in need. In her business, she utilizes a qualitative approach for her Northern NJ real estate clients, ensuring an element of inclusion within our community.

Currently the Junior League of Bergen County President (2025-2027), Deb has provided several years of committed service, leadership, and consistent loyalty to its membership and mission statement. She was presented with “The Woman to Watch” Award in 2012-2013 and The LuAnn Giannone Award in 2022-2023. She has held the following League positions: President-Elect 2024-2025, Administrative VP 2023-2024, Chair of New Member 2022-2023, Asst Chair of New Member 2021-2022, Sustainer Member 2020-2021, Festival of Trees Committee Member 2019-2020, Asst Chair of DIAD 2018-2019, Festival of Trees Committee Member 2017-2018, VP of Membership 2016-2017, Chair of Active Training 2015-2016, Chair of New Member 2014-2015, Festival of Trees Committee Member 2012-2014, Provisional Member and Training Committee Member 2011-2012.

Beyond her dedication to the JLBC, Deb serves as a board trustee for the Realtors Care Foundation (2024-2026), an organization dedicated to supporting those in need and enhancing the quality of life within our local community. She is a longtime member of the Mahwah Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and participates in various committees at Greater Bergen Realtors.

Debbie was awarded the Greater Bergen Realtors 2023 Good Neighbor Award in recognition of her “extraordinary commitments to improving the quality of life in their local and/or global communities through volunteer community service.”

The greatest love of Deb’s life is her rescue dog Luna, a 10lb Shih Tsu mix – who she deemed the unofficial mascot of the JLBC. Her hobbies include travel, food/cooking, reading, and spending time at her family’s beach house in Long Beach Island.
