Food Banks across the country are struggling to keep up with the growing demand especially during these summer months when children are not in school and not receiving food assistance during school hours. The JLBC Community Committee wants to help out our local children who use the Center for Food Action Snack Pack Program by hosting a food drive at our Summer Social.

Listed below are items that we are collecting for this program as well as supermarket gift cards.

If you are unable to attend the Summer Social you can still make a donation to Kim Wong’s House, 272 S. Irving St, Ridgewood or by contacting her via email at kimwongnj@gmail.com to arrange for pickup.

Mini Ravioli 7.5 oz.
Macaroni and cheese, 7.25 oz.
