The JLBC has partnered with the Center for Hope and Safety to beautify and maintain the Center’s Pathway to Self-Sufficiency. The Pathway is a small garden space located in Van Saun Park that honors and memorializes victims of domestic violence. This is an ongoing partnership and the JLBC will host garden clean-ups seasonally.
Our first clean-up date is Saturday, October 1st from 9 am – 1 pm. Volunteers will help clean up and prepare the garden for the Center’s annual candlelight vigil that will be held on October 12th.
For more information and/or information on how you can volunteer for future clean-ups, please email Kim at firstname.lastname@example.org.
