JLBC’s Pandemic Response Fundraiser for Ridgecrest

Imagine having to literally live off of anywhere from $7 to $22 per month! Then add to that the inability to leave your home to get the very things you need to survive, as doing so would put your life at risk. Unfortunately, the residents of Bergen County’s Ridgecrest Senior Housing don’t have to imagine, they are living it. Ridgecrest is an independent living community for low income older adults age 62+ and people with disabilities. Ridgecrest is made up of 129 apartments and home to 150+ residents.

If you are looking for a way to make a meaningful difference amid the devastation of the coronavirus, please consider making a donation to the JLBC’s fundraising effort on behalf of Ridgecrest’s residents. And, just as it has for all of us, the coronavirus has just meant additional stress for them. Money raised through the JLBC’s Pandemic Response Fundraiser for Ridgecrest will be used to provide its residents with non-perishable food, fresh produce, cleaning items and toiletries. And the JLBC will match the first $1,500 in donations received.

We hope you can help us in this worthy cause! Click here to donate.
